The R3000 are designed for competition and aimed at runners with a good technique who want to take advantage of their extra reactivity provided by the ENDOPLATE carbon fibre plate. This semi-rigid material compresses the foam on the midsole and achieves 80% reactivity when releasing the body weight. Hence, the true benefits of the R3000 for runners are that they save energy which helps to reduce fatigue, they maintain a constant pace throughout the pace and aid recovery.

They result in an energy saving of 2% with the plate model compared to the same model without a plate. Mainly due to the increase in step length of 0.8cm and therefore the reduction in the same proportion in step frequency.

Suitable for runners with a good foot strike technique and fast paces, solely for use on tarmac and track. The trainer weights 258 g and it has a drop of 8 mm.

The upper is constructed with a highly breathable material and to which the VTS SYSTEM has been applied in order to maximise this quality. In addition, the very fine nylon provides comfort and freedom of movement to the foot with the FLEXSHIELD system which provides a resistance-free and lightweight fit to the foot. To add comfort, the tongue has a foam interior and double elasticated hold to the upper which guarantees it stays in its place at all times.

Exclusive studied geometry has been developed on the sole for the type of runner that the R.3000 is targeted at. These are runners with a refined technique that land on the front of the foot, hence the toe area is reinforced with rubber, especially the big toe and the transition lines of the foot. The reduction of the rubber helps to create a lighter trainer while also enabling the release of energy required by the reactivity of the R3000.

Another important point is guaranteeing the traction of the sole on the tarmac at such fast paces. The DURABILITY sole accompanied by a reinforcement in the area which is more prone to wear increases its resistance to wear. This is an improvement that Joma has carried out compared to the previous model.
