The 2022/2023 collection retains the club’s identity thanks to it featuring blue as the main colour. Joma wanted to add a change: the t-shirt has fine wavy lines on the front. These lines in sky blue and white add a modern and innovative touch. At the same time, the club’s essence has been maintained. As is normal, the club’s logo has been included, which is also printed on the fabric on the front of the t-shirt. The technique used for this is embossing. In addition, the design on the back is smooth.

The new t-shirt is made with 100% recycled polyester, which is characterised for its quality and elasticity, in addition to being extremely robust and easy to maintain. Plastic, which causes serious harm to biodiversity, is processed to turn it into recycled polyester thread. It is then turned into more than a million metres of sustainable fabric. This is used in Joma’s textile collection, like the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the 2022/2023 season. This initiative of Joma’s aims to curb the contamination of the oceans and eliminate plastic waste through the development of recycled products.

This fabric provides excellent breathability thanks to the application of the MICROMESH finish, which results in a state-of-the-art fabric which is capable of controlling the athlete’s body moisture. Thanks to this technology, the body stays dry and comfortable, preventing you from catching cold after exercise.

The areas where sweat tends to accumulate, where the player needs additional breathability, are reinforced with pieces of mesh fabric which replace the polyester base to provide additional comfort. The FLATLOCK flat seam system also helps with this, as it prevents chafing and provides elasticity and freedom of movement.
